Goats
In 2005 we took some of our Miniature Horses to the Arizona State Fair, for our club's
booth there to showcase the minis. We were next to the barn where there were goats
being shown, and we speant a lot of time in there learning about the goats. We fell in
love with the Nigerian Dwarf breed, and couldn't go home without one! We currently
have 8 wethers and 3 does whom we adore. A wether is a nuetered male goat, and
they make excellent pets! Goats act like dogs in that they're playful, trainable, and
love attention. We would love to add a red mini nubian with the nubian ears to enjoy
our home someday. We hope you enjoy learning about our goats as much as we love
showing them off :)
Twix
Butterscotch
Raisinette
Twix was our first goat. He was born in 2005. He LOVES attention, and comes
running when he hears the word "cookie" Cookies are his favorite treat! He will even
walk on his hind legs to get one!
Butterscotch was born 2006. When we got him at about 4-6 months old, he was very
skittish. If you went anywhere near him he'd run away. It wasn't long before kind
patience and cookies won him over! Now he won't stay away from people! :)
Raisin was born 2006. Not only is he the first bottle baby we've had, but we got to
bottle feed him! He came home at only 5 weeks old. I just LOVED to bottle feed him,
he's sooo cute and sweet :) Most of the time I'd bring him in the house with me for
his bottle, and we'd sit together with all the kitties surrounding us, hoping they could
have a turn at the bottle :) Raisin follows me everywhere, and I've been known to
take him for walks (no leash necessary) and to Petsmart :)
Starburst
Starburst is a 2007 Nigerian Dwarf doe. She has two beautiful blue eyes. We got
Starburst because she kept escaping and eating expensive plants at her previous
home. We're happy to have her eat our weeds ;)
Cadbury
Cadbury is another adorable Nigerian Dwarf wether. He was born 3/09 and was able
to come home to CheyAut Ranch end of May 09. He is a little timid at the moment,
but I"m sure time will fix that :)

Oreo
Oreo is an adorable Nigerian Dwarf doe. She was born 7/09. She looks like a spotted
blanket appy horse, so of course I couldn't resist going to see her! When I met her
and saw what a friendly personality she has, I knew she was coming home with me :)
Almond Joy
Almond Joy is a beautiful Nigerian Dwarf wether. I believe he was born in 2008. He
belonged to a friend of ours who didn't have a good set up for a lone goat, so he
came to live with us. He looks similar to Cadbury, and odd enough these two became
friends right away!
Skor
Billy Wonka
Billy Wonka is a Nigerian wether born in 2010. When we went to meet Poppy, we also
met this cutie, and besides his adorable looks and wonderful personality, his name
was just too perfect! It was meant to be :) He already had someone interested in him
as a buck, but luckily for us they ended up not buying him, so he was wethered and
came home with us :)
Skor is another adorable Nigerian wether kid we met when we met Poppy. He is not
Billy Wonka's brother, but they were in the same pen. He is more in the shy side, but
so cute and I'm sure in time he'll come around ;) We're greatful to DragonFlye Farms
for these three (and a previous) wonderful Nigerian Dwarves!
