Miniature Geldings
CheyAut Ranch is currently home to 3 Miniature Horse geldings. Geldings make EXCELLENT driving
horses, since they don't get as distracted as stallions and mares! Driving minis is a lot of fun. Some
things you can do: Drive in parades, trail drive, drive around your neighborhood, be part of a driving
drill team, compete in combined driving events, compete in pleasure driving or in breed shows... the
list goes on! If you haven't driven a horse, you really are missing out on a wonderful way of enjoying
your horses!
CheyAut's Chili Pepper
Chili is an unregistered 2000 gelding who stands about 35". Chili and I enjoying
combined driving. We are currently competing in preliminary level in ADTs through the
Arizona Driving and Carriage Society. We have a BLAST racing through the cones and
hazards! Chili always has the fastest cones course, rarely knocking balls! :) Chili is the
2008 ADCS Prelim VSE Champion! At a mini/pony show 10/08 he was Grand
Champion Driving Horse!
TCM Midnight Blues
Midnight is an AMHA 32" 2002 black roan gelding. He is my drill team horse. We are
part of the Arizona Mini Mystique (see link at bottom of page). It's a lot of fun! We
travel around Arizona, and even out of state. We were in the 2007 and 2008
Tournament of Roses Parade. It was a big honor, and a TON of fun! In Nov. 2007 we
performed The Arizona Horse Festival and Expo. We also show and do other parades.
Tura's Cruise Control
Cruiser is an unregistered 37.5" 2002 gelding. He tested Ee aa Zz and no cream
(which makes him silver black, also known as silver dapple). Cruiser is Craig's ADT
horse. He is very green to driving but doing great! He is a very friendly and playful
little guy. 10/08 he was in a show, and in a HUGE driving class he got FIRST!
